Pontas is the shared name of two sister companies: Pontas Literary & Film Agency is an international agency representing writers from all over the world; and Pontas Films is a production company aimed to develop and produce audiovisual content based on books.
Founded in 1992 by Anna Soler-Pont, Pontas is a literary and film agency internationally representing a wide range of authors from all over the world. The team is a dynamic and creative group of people across several nationalities and generations based in Barcelona.
Pontas Films is a film & TV production company founded in 2013 with the goal to develop films based in books that entertain and enlighten. The first feature film produced and completed, Traces of Sandalwood, was released in Spain and has been awarded several prizes (including Audience Award at Montreal World Film Festival 2014).
